Today's class is being held in Austin and taught by Tim Ross, RE/MAX of Texas, Technology Dept. New capabilities for web clients taking advantage of what the RE/MAX sites offer include the capability of an agent to upload documents, send to a client, and the client being able to download from their custom dashboard.

The Texas A&M Real Estate Center states that consumers are "tired of being afraid" of the economy, of the future, of delving into investing and real estate.  It seems that buyers have gotten that message, and are jumping on the buying train.

Since January 2nd, area wide recon indicates that buyers ARE out looking, writing offers, and increasing movement on properties that have been gathering dust for many months.  Title companies that whined of December, 2009 as being their "worst ever" month, are now racking up new transactions that will close in late January or February.

2010 WILL be a good year for real estate in Central Texas.  We've been shot out of a gun.  It's a GREAT start for the year.
